On this section, you will find the report of my process and preparation during the teaching practice at USHS, CLSU, Philippines.
Procedures of Teaching
After I done with the observation, and decided which class that I chose, I started to develop lesson plan based on the topic of the curriculum and also after I discussed with my Cooperating Teacher (CT). I decided to teach Properties and Well-Written Text. This main topic has some sub topics inside, there are: Organization, Coherence and Cohesive, Language Use and Mechanic. In addition, I have one class to teach, that was grade 11th for both initial demo and final demo.
The procedures that I have for both teaching practices (Initial demo and Final Demo) are, first I searched about the materials, and found some references from the internet to teach the students. After I got the materials, I discussed it with my CT is it correct material or not. When she approved what materials that I want to highlight for the students, I moved to the second procedures, that was developed my lesson plan. I wrote from the learning objectives, until the procedures of teaching. After it done, I developed my Powerpoint Slides. There, I put all of the materials from motivation, discussion, drills, and activity. After all my lesson plan and slides done, I sent it to my CT to have her checked. Then next to the third procedures or teaching demo, I revised my lesson plan and slides based on the my CT's suggestions.
In addition, I got one chance to teach before my final teaching demo. On my first teaching with the students, there were also my supervisor observed me and gave me some advices and suggestions to my final demo. Moreover, on my teaching demo, I prepared all the files, materials, media before I went to the classroom. On the day of my teaching demo, I started with greeting and took an absence, followed with students motivation based on the gamification. I started the class with quiz/game activity in order to made them enjoy and to know how level of understanding for the subject later. This activity made them think seriously but also fun. Because when they got right answer, their group got the points, and for those group who won the game/quiz, there were a give from me. After the quiz was done, I continued with discussion session. I told the students about the do's and don'ts on language use and mechanic. Also when the discussion session, I used small quiz to the students to choose the right one of the do's and don'ts and we discussed it together. Then, after that, continued with the drills and the student's activity to arrange the paragraph based on the language use and mechanic. In the end of the class, I asked the students to summarized what they got for the lesson.

Time Management and Organizing Activities
On the day of my teaching demo, I have had two hours class to teach Properties and Well-Written Text for grade 11th. The time management here was important because there were plenty of time to make deep discussion and activity while the class was conducted. For two hours class, I managed the procedures from opening the class, to the end of the class carefully. As for the first hour, I have had the discussion and short quiz for the students. Then, as for last hour, I have had my class to played the activity and the drills. Moreover, the activities in my class always have individual and group work. The first activity I have should be quiz first. This aims to build their understanding before they learn something new. Then, for the next activity is group work. This activity aims to build their group discussion in class to make them think and share their idea between the students. In addition, the last activities should be drills. In order to know their level of understanding after the lesson, the drills here also important to do and it can be written work.
Problem Solving
Every practicum may have a problem for me to solve. This thing make me feel more challenging to solve that. The problem that I encountered as long as I have the practicum at this school was the signal. The signal of the school Wi-fi was not be able to reach my classroom, even it was same for the phone signal. This thing, I can manage it by give the activity to the students in real material (conventional) one. The use of paper, and whiteboard to do the activity are my problem solving for the signal problem. This turned out that the students enjoyed with that and more fun than the use of technology. Because from that, the students will focus on the class and will not look up their mobile phone to have done their work.

Classroom Management
Classroom management is important especially in short lesson. Here, I always use timer to count every activity for the students. Because of they were in grade 11th, so that I use short timer around 2-7 minutes for the quiz and 10-20 minutes for the group work. It works in my class and the students also can finish their work even before that time. And for the group mate, I arrange them on the beginning of the class and after that, they will sit around their group member so that when the group work session come, they will not move anymore to their group position. The classroom management above made my class run smoothly and I have enough time to teach and to finish my lesson.
